The Beauty Of Love

Love is a beautiful thing and it’s something that almost every human being desires. The problem with love is that if you get dumped it can take a long time to get over it. When you lose a loved one it can feel like bereavement, you have the same feeling of loss.

I’ve been through my fair share of break ups and some of them were especially painful. If you’ve recently parted ways with your partner and you don’t believe that it was the right decision then I encourage you to try and get them back.

It was only a few years ago that I was very close to losing my girlfriend who is now my wife. I had a disagreement with her parents and it created huge problems in the relationship. When this happened the two of us lived with our parents and because of the fall out her parents no longer allowed me to go and visit.

This meant that we could no longer spend a lot of time together and it nearly drove us apart. We were only seeing each other around 2 times a week and the rest of the time we were doing our own thing.

When couples spend time apart they get used to being apart from each other and this means that it’s easier to end the relationship. During this period me and my girlfriend weren’t doing much of anything together.

I knew that if the relationship carried on going the way it was going it would soon be over so I made peace with her parents. It was very hard for me to eat humble pie and put my pride to one side and apologize but I’m glad that I did.

From then on me and my girlfriend became stronger and she is now my wife. The easy option for me would have been to keep my head in the sand and not apologize but then the two of us would never have got better between us.
